Happy New Year Circulation

Jai Dev Singh, founder of the Life Force Academy, recently shared during a prosperity meditation, that it is not about reception; it is about circulation. This affected me deeply because receiving is what we so often use as our barometer of success. How many houses, cars or shoes can we accumulate until we feel fulfilled?  And, we all know people who have an abundance of these things and still do not feel like they have enough.

So why do we continue to focus in this way? Sounds like time for a change in perspective. Prosperity, not just money and tangibles but an elevated, conscious awareness of your (tuned in/turned on) inner working, comes from a focus on right movement.

Like blood flows through the body, naturally, energy does too. Unless there is a block in the path, things move as governed by law. Why do we stop this flow, decreasing the level of circulation-- the movement of things to and fro or around something? Many of us assume if we let go of these things, if we do not strive for these things, we will not have anything. But this is what is unnatural.

All substance flows when in its natural state. Even those things that appear solid are moving. As well, those things that we obsess about and call our own are not ours at all. They are apart of the flow too. To be had now, but not for always. From life to death, all things flow.

Shifting the Focus

1. Observe things in motion. Visualize the river flowing bliss to you. Imagine standing at the base of the stream or waterfall with open arms, receiving, but not catching all. Allow the rest of the water to fall through your hands. Allow the things you need to come to you as you align with how natural it is for you to have them.

2. Clean out your closets, the ones in your house as well as the ones in your mind.  Choose the clothes, shoes, bags that bring you joy. Move on from the thoughts that used to plague you to ones that delight you. Tell yourself "I can" and get out of your own way. Release attachment to the blockages by giving these things away. Give the tangible things to someone in need and give your cares and concerns to God.

3. Give your loving attention to all that you do or take in. Circulate good by being present with the people/ things you agree to host for a time. Enjoy them now and then as needed, let them go. In most cases, you could have said no, or yes. If you don't want to do something or buy something, don't. Circulating your grief, shame, guilt, just so that you do not have to disappoint others or yourself is still disappointing. Make your yes, your yes because it is the best thing to do and then do it, wholeheartedly.

Let's focus on circulation this year.

Does this mean that we do not receive? No. This means that we open our minds, hearts and hands to allow the laws governing movement, which we do not control, to do their job-- circulating things as they should, as they do, naturally. We don't know the whole picture. We don't know all that converges on our behalves. Circulating goodness, service, and love, among the other positive gifts that you can offer means more flowing to and fro and around for you, me, for All.
